It can take 4 days or more than one week to cure fully. It is very important to follow the instructions given by the dentist to prevent infection and quick recovery. Possible risks of impacted wisdom teeth removal Bleeding At the time of removal, there may be a little bleeding and you can use floss to prevent bleeding. Bleeding can be stopped by applying pressure over the area for around ten minutes with cotton or a handkerchief. Infection An infection can occur in the socket which can be solved by keeping a small piece of cloth in that place for a few more minutes. Avoid smoking; it can cause more infection in that place. After the impacted wisdom teeth removal, it is advised not to smoke for a few days to get a quick recovery.
